Hey there!
I am a writer and a teacher who currently (and at times unwillingly) living in North Dakota. I hail from Pittsburgh (Go Penguins!) and I love writing, reading, photography, wolves, and auto racing.
In addition to my Doctor of Arts from Idaho State Uiversity, I also earned an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University, in Greensburg, PA. Check them out here.
My thesis novel is a young adult sports novel titled Spinout set against the world of auto racing, which I’m currently revising for submission.
I’m also on sub with another racing novel for teens, Drive Like A Girl, which stars Jess Briggs as she begins her racing summer.
I also have a completed YA manuscript, Wild Music, which is about grief and memory and learning to love again–with a heaping side of wolf conservation and biology. This novel is set in Idaho, where I lived for five years and I’m also revising it to submit.
My current wips include another racing novel, a YA historical novel set against the 1889 Johnstown Flood, and novel about Mexican gray wolves, lobos.
I’m also working on an adult level detective novel set in Pittsburgh and an epic fantasy novel.
I’m currently in search of an agent or editor.
You can find me on Twitter and Facebook, too.
Check back often for updates.
